The Sexy Ugly List

Hey ladies!!! Tonight I have men on my mind. The good, the bad and the sexy ugly. You know, those men who don’t have the traditional, pretty boy, hunka-hunka burnin’ love good looks. Brad Pitt? Nah! Orlando Bloom? Puh-lease! I like real men, those who don’t moisturize, pluck their eyebrows or spend every waking hour in front of a mirror.

So here are my Sexy Ugly lists, one international, the other for my favourite Italians. The lists are in no particular order and are subject to change depending on what time of the month it is.

 International Sexy Ugly

1. Adrien Brody – that swagger, those bedroom eyes, that nose!

2. Clive Owen – well, he’s not exactly ugly but I couldn’t resist putting him down

3. Mathieu Kassovitz – trop mignon!

4. Daniel Craig – don’t usually like musclemen but he’s something special

5. Hugh Laurie – bitter brilliant British man with a complex. Gotta love him!

 Italian Sexy Ugly

1. Sergio Castellitto – brilliant director and actor. A bit rat-like but he does it for me.

2. Sergio Rubini – I guess I got a thing for Sergios

3. Roberto Donadoni, coach of the Italian national soccer team – a bit goofy-looking when he was young, he’s aged rather nicely

4. Claudio Santamaria – he’s the yummy baddie that tried to kill Daniel Craig in Casino Royale.

5. Luigi LoCascio – can’t resist his laughing eyes and jet black hair

Ok girls, now it’s your turn. Who would you put on your sexy ugly lists? The possibilities are endless. Can’t wait to read them!

Oh yes, sexy ugly is so much sexier than sexy pretty. I’m with you all the way about Clive Owen, in Closer he made poor pretty boy Jude Law look like a pixie. Yes Clive has managed to escape the Hollywood grooming and hang on to his slightly rough and seedy looks, no botox for him, yet. He’s getting sexier as he gets older and more lived in too. I could go on…

I’ll have to google all the Italian ones and check them out.

Nice to meet you, I’m sure we’ll get on famously. Amanda

Vincent Cassel, Luciano Ligabue, Roberto Baggio – my husband won’t be reading this will he? Will yours? With you on the Sergios!
Pass the Syrah and let’s get some cheese and olives!

I LOVE your int’l choices 2-5 and all your Italian ones.

I met Claudio and he is too sexy for words.

This post was a nice way to start my weekend. Grazie Mille. 🙂

Amanda – Yes, I think this is the start of a beautiful friendship. I totally 100% agree with you on Clive. I mean, that scene at the strip club in Closer? I almost lost it! He’s got that certain naughty dangerous look in those lovely green eyes that makes me go ga-ga. Ok, gotta stop! My hubby might read this – grounds for divorce.

Jo – Ah, Vincent! Damn you Monica!!!

Ragazza – Where and when did you meet Claudio. Deets, man!

I know what you mean about Adrien Brody! His charm blows his nose out of the water. (Uh, lovely image, but you know what I mean, right?)

Ditto on Daniel Craig. I don’t usually like blonds, but there’s something about him that works…

Hmmm… I need to google those Italian guys, too. (Shame on me, I mean, I’m living in Naples!)

Tui – Love the nose-blow-water image. LOL! What did you think of the Italian hotties?
